Limitations
- Cannot drive two browsers at the same time — Cypress does not support controlling more than 1 open browser at a time. You can test multiple tabs, however, using the @cypress/puppeteer plugin.
- No native or mobile events support — There is not any native or mobile events support.
- Lack of a native hover command — Workarounds are required for the lack of a cy.hover() command.
- Commands run inside the browser — Test code is evaluated inside the browser, making it more challenging to communicate with the back end directly without using cy.task() or cy.request().

Trade-offs: Screenshots and videos
Permanent trade-offs Overview: Cypress is not a general purpose automation tool. Cypress commands run inside of a browser. You cannot use Cypress to drive two browsers at the same time. Each test is bound to a single superdomain. | Temporary trade-offs Overview: Workarounds for the lack of a cy.hover() command. There is not any native or mobile events support. iframe support is somewhat limited, but does work.
